Color psychology has huge impact on films...

Color psychology is certainly impact on films and it plays vital role in terms of depicting something that what director wants to show audience. Audience will realize it as soon as they watch the movie that they might be watching historical movie, romantic movie or thriller. Interesting fact is every genre has its own own color theory. For example, I will share some of my knowledge with you all. I watched one movie called Twilight New moon when I watched the movie, I felt like as if I am styaing in thick region forests since the entire movie seems to be very gloomy very dull. It has matched perfectly, first time when I read the novel I visualized in the same manner that Twilight should have been dull and glomy visually. And it was like that according to my visualization. The reason why Twilight movie has been done that because, they wanted to evoke the emotions from audience that this is not just simple love story but this is something very complicated love story in which the story revolves around one ordinary girl with Vampire. And yes of course, movie has to be dull in order to evoke the feeling that "Yes it is kind of wierd when Vampire is being with ordinary girl called Bella". Colors makes our life full fill according to our emotions.

In general terms of words, most of my friends have been telling me when they are sad "Oh my god my world is dark or my life is old like black and white", if my friends are happy they will say "Yes my life is like rainbow now". Our every word is connected with color and our every element happening in our life is connected with color. Do you all agree with me?? Just observing the people around me, its kind of interesting fact when I see lovers in park their costumes are so beautiful and attractive, very bright. It is not just attracting thier partners but the feeling of happiness is evoking inside our hearts so we wear bright color dress. Technically speaking, color psychology is really important in films only because of this emotion to build up in every viewer's mind so that we can indulge into story and we can feel like as if something really happened to us. If the color theory is not appropriate according to the story, obviously we will feel irritated because its lame when there is no connection.

Technically speaking, any color combination present in a film can be interpreted as color theory. This includes black and white, saturated colors, prop or costume design An understanding of the various applications of color in film is often important to understand the meaning of a film.

Black and White: Quiet common we all know black and white is old melody or classic. It is often used to convey age or historical difference. When we watch black and white movies we can feel our life journey is going back to centuries ago. Perhaps, there was no fun but it was royality. That is why still today it is yet considered old is gold do you agreee with me??? Even now, black and white seems to be still fashinable but they use this combination when there is emotion of loneliness, mourning that someone left us or when we travel back some centuries finding out. Certainly, black and white is Old classic history but its still royality in first spot.

Painting: Some films are painted in effects in real life situations to give a sense of fantasy or unrealistic goals. Which is in technically known as "Matte paintings". The colors in paint effect is not natural but it has impressionist fashion. For example if the foreground characters are live and foreground elements are live but the background is painted with different colors or with a little fashionable imaginary that we have never seen so far, it will create sense to viewers that they have gone to different deep mystical land. Generally, color combinations are also implemented in unique way from routine direction. Its certainly useful for fantasy movies of course. And I must say its huge worthy best effort, I think much talented too.
Ex:

Saturated and D saturated:  Obviously as we all know it has opposite nature. Saturated is the color which depicts brightness and D saturated is quiet opposite which conveys the poverty or duller emotions. As if our world is dark when we are sad someone who mourns a lot.. generally we see Saturated colors in comedy movies, or love stories. D saturated is all about tragic mode.

So now, as I discuss about color theory its interesting isn't it... The points I referred from movies when I was watching so many movies, of course I would know when I observe. As if now, I will talk about aesthetic feel. Aesthetic color conveys refresh. Aesthetic mood depicts that its the art of love its beauty of nature or its deep emotional happiness in love. Aesthetic sense in love stories is really beautiful Some of the best movies like 500 Days of Summer (Hollywood), Secret (Mandarin), Hot Days of Summer (Cantonese) Fly me to Polaris (Cantonese) are the lovely movies in list. There are many many if I keep on count. All these movies have aesthetic color combination. And when I watched this, I felt so refreshing and I got full of satisfaction that yes I am watching on beautiful love story. Aesthetic color sense in love stories depicts that "Its lovely, unforgettable and romantic as ever".. So, I am going to incorporate aesthetic mood in my movie, conveying deeper romance level to my viewers. Because my movie is all about love, the life which loves love... And every scene is aesthetic beauty... Right now, doing shot planning adding some sense of color combinations which I am taking inspiration from some visual references that I am sharing with you all...
