I am finding the best way to develop screenplay for past few days. Unfortunately, my laptop is damaged and I had to give it to service center. With just my nude hands I dropped into my academic head's cabin today finally. Of all these days, I was just doing research about how to do strong screenplay??? Story is decided, its my real life love story. But the screenplay plays major role in movies. If I am not wrong, every Chinese and Cantonese movies have great essence dramatic structure. May be most of the Indians did not watch some Chinese movies, but the fact is,. they have great style. I see their screenplay is strong however story is pretty lame.
Recently, some days back I saw one Cantonese movie which was directed by my favorite director called "Dante lam". He is genius if I could use more better term. The movie name is "Love on the Rocks". Its about one boy who is unromantic and his girlfriend breaks up with him when he stupidly destroys the Valentines day mood. Frustrated girlfriend leaves his way. So he goes back to love guru and learns to be romantic. When he learns how to be romantic, probably he will go back to his past life and he recollects the memories that how the previous break-ups happened. It was because of misunderstanding and some were triangle love stories. Then he comes back to present to rectify all those mistakes as he implements the efforts on his present girlfriend. She is impressed with his actions finally, they reconcile. Story is lame if I told you all. But, the screenplay is amazing every second your eyes cannot get off from screen you will just see what might happen next?? The specialty in Chinese movies is, Presentation in different style may be their own style. Every scene is unpredictable either predictable but it seem to be still interesting. How can they maintain tempo such way??? But I am still stuck to some point how to give presentation for my movie? All though I watched so many movies so far I am still geting some new ideas but with no clarity. On the time of jury, my brain is getting blocked and whatever questions are shot towards me,I am unable to reply. Perhaps, this si my weakness or my cluess thing, even though I have hell lot of ideas, my thoroat is dried up. Now I am unable to show off something.. Plzz help me, can anyone tell me, how to do good screenplay?? AM I nervous or clueless???
